Delete Your Account

We're sorry to see you go. This page explains how to permanently delete your Satisdrive account and all associated data.

This Action Cannot Be Undone

Deleting your account will permanently remove all your data including vehicles, maintenance records, documents, fuel logs, and any uploaded photos. This process cannot be reversed.

What Will Be Deleted

Vehicle Data

All vehicle profiles (make, model, year, VIN, photos, etc.)
Maintenance logs and service records
Parts replacement history
Fuel consumption data and efficiency calculations
Car issues and problem tracking

Documents & Files

All uploaded documents (insurance, registration, receipts)
Photos and images stored in the app
Document expiry reminders and notifications

Account Information

Profile information and settings
Cloud backup data (Pro users)
Scheduled notifications and reminders
App preferences and customizations

Before You Delete

Export Your Data: Go to Settings > Data > Export to download all your information in JSON format. Pro users can also export CSV files.

Cancel Subscriptions: If you have a Pro subscription, cancel it through the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android) to avoid future charges.

Save Important Documents: Download any receipts, photos, or documents you want to keep from the Documents section.

How to Delete Your Account

📱 Method 1: In-App Deletion (Recommended)

The fastest way to delete your account is directly through the Satisdrive app:

Open Satisdrive and go to the Profile/Settings screen

Scroll down to the "Account" section

Tap "Change settings" to expand the account options

Tap the red "Delete account" button

Confirm the deletion when prompted

Processing Time: Immediate deletion from the app, complete data removal within 30 days.

✉️ Method 2: Email Request

If you can't access the app or prefer email, you can request account deletion:

Send an email to support@satisapps.com

Use "Delete Account Request" as the subject line

Include the email address associated with your Satisdrive account

We'll verify your identity and process the deletion

Processing Time: 7 business days for verification and processing.

Subscription Cancellation

Remember to cancel your Pro subscription to avoid future charges:

iOS: Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions > Satisdrive > Cancel Subscription
Android: Google Play Store > Account > Subscriptions > Satisdrive > Cancel

You can also use the "Manage Subscription" button in the Satisdrive app's Profile section.

Data Retention Policy

Local Data: Deleted immediately when you delete the account in-app
Cloud Data: Permanently removed within 30 days
Backups: Removed from all backup systems within 90 days
Legal Requirements: Some data may be retained longer if required by law

Alternative Options

Before deleting your account, consider these alternatives:

Take a Break: Simply stop using the app - your data will remain safe
Downgrade: Cancel Pro subscription but keep your free account
Export Data: Download your information and delete the app without deleting the account
